The mass of resurrection for John Paul "J.P." Gonzales, age 36, a long-time resident of Las Vegas, N.M., and former resident of Tucumcari, N.M., was celebrated this morning at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, with Father C. John Brasher as celebrant. Interment followed at the San Jose Cemetery with full Military Honors. Serving as casket bearers were Charles Barela, Richard Tafoya, Aurelio Hernandez, Ernie Gurule, George "Choche" Apodaca and Aaron Hernandez.
