Raymond F. Ruth of Warminster passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the age of 77. He was the beloved husband of the late Marianne (Dagostino); cherished father of Raymond Ruth Jr. (Jennifer); caring grandfather of Joshua and Jacob; loving brother of Robert (Mary Ann), Richard (Mary) and the late Ronald (Carol Ruth-Brandt); and brother-in-law of Peter Dagostino (Teri).

Raymond Ruth was a graduate of Upper Moreland High School and Purdue University. He enlisted as a young man into the U.S. Navy and retired as a Chief last serving at Willow Grove. He worked as an engineer, high school math teacher, and found his long term career as a life insurance agent, first for Prudential then later at New York Life. He was an active member of St John’s Church and served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. He loved playing horseshoes, cards, and being around family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to share in Ray’s Life Celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 22, at the Decker Funeral Home, 216 York Rd., Warminster, PA 18974, and from 10 a.m. until his funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 505 N. York Rd., Hatboro, PA 19040. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
