Mrs. Ferrio died Thursday evening, July 13, 2006 at Brian's House, Bay City, age 84 years. She was born the daughter of the late Henry and Verna (Wilson) Ramsey April 19, 1922 in Bay City and had resided in this area most of her life.
She graduated from Central High School where she was a member of the swim team and the band, was an avid golfer, bowler, involved with home econom- ics and 4-H and went fishing with her husband Mike.
On June 13, 1942 she married Michael A. Ferrio, he survives her. Also surviving are 3 daughters: Karin (Jim) Carlin, Sue Greenleaf all of Auburn, Casey (Cheryl) and Mike Denhoff, Scarsdale, NY, 4 grandchildren: Jeff (Nancy) Carlin, Chris Greenleaf, Adam and David Denhoff; 5 great grandchildren: Jennifer, Wendi, Nick, Robbie and Scott; 1 brother, Robert (Allison) Ramsey, Notting-ham, England and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by 1 sister, Jean Reid.
The Family would like to thank the staff of the Carriage House and Brian's House for the marvelous care they gave Dawn. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at the Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. Rev. Lawson D. Crane will officiate. Entombment will be at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Mausoleum, Bay City.
Dawn's family will receive friends at the Auburn Chapel on Monday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
