Paul Luther Adam of 37 Apennine Road, Plum Borough, died Saturday evening, Sept. 12, 1970, in the Oakmont Residence Home after a brief illness. He was born in Pennsylvania, a son of Joseph A. and Mattie (Boone) Adam, and married Mae Sincox. Surviving are his wife, five children, Lance of Freemont, Calif., James of Cleveland, Richard Lane of Carson City, Nev., Mrs. Hazel O’Shell of Lyleville and Mrs. Larie Powell of Tallahassee, Fla.; several grandchildren, and six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ruth Thon of Smithmill, Mrs. Alice Palmgren of Jamestown, NY, Dr. J. E. of Hollywood, Fla., Mrs. Lorraine Saunders of Level Green and J. Leonard and Herman of Coalport. Friends will be received until 9 a.m. today in the VanHorn Funeral Home, Monroeville and in Lloyd Funeral Home, Irvona tomorrow.
