Donna Lou Aguirre, 69, of Bethany, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, June 2, 2007 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 9, 1937 to Lorain and Nellie Marie Lolmaugh of Blackwell. She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School on May 26, 1955, the day after the May 25th tornado.

She married Jack L. Glaze on Nov. 23, 1956 and lived in Oklahoma City were she attended Southern Nazarene University with intentions of teaching sign language. After the birth of her first son, Frankie Lee, she became a housewife and later was employed at Western Electric and had her second son, Johnny Lorain.

In 1974, she moved back to Blackwell. She returned to Oklahoma City in 1979 and married Herman Robert (H.R.) Aguirre on Nov. 24, 1978, and from this union, a daughter, Jaconna Loucina was born.

For many years, she was an electronic equipment production worker for Controldata/Seagate Technologies. After her retirement she was active in researching her family's genealogy, she also enjoyed cake decorating and made many beautiful wedding cakes for family and friends. She belonged to several miniature clubs and enjoyed collecting miniature dollhouses. She entered some of her miniature creations in the State Fair and won many ribbons for her work. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. She was always taking photos and was an influence to her daughter, who is now a photographer. She was a devoted Christian and it showed in all that she did.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Velden Lolmaugh.

She is survived by her husband, H.R. of the home; a daughter, Jaconna of Norman; sons, Frankie Lee (F.L.) Glaze of Yukon, and Johnny Glaze, of Dallas and their father, Jack Glaze, of Bethany; a sister, Davida Abbott of Las Vegas, Nev.; and grandchildren, Kyler, Garrett, and Reid Glaze.

Memorial service: Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the Bethany First Assembly of God Church with Pastor M. Russell Herndon officiating.
