Mrs. Gertrude Lucille Bergen, 26, 312 Orange street, died Thursday at Bellevue hospital.

Gertrude Lucille Henderson was born in Mercer county, Ill., on March 29, 1918, the daughter of LeRoy and and Frances Marple Henderson. She was married to Leo Bergen on Dec. 7, 1938, at Clinton.

Surviving are her husband, Leo Irving Bergen, with the United States navy; one son, William Irving Bergen; two daughters, Barbara Lee and Frances Jo Bergen, at home; four brothers, Leo, John, Robert and Ivan Henderson, all of Keithsburg, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Georgia Wagner, Keithsburg, Pvt. Marion Henderson, Birmingham, A.A.F., Miss Esther Henderson, Peoria, Ill., and Miss Carol Henderson, Keithsburg. She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Leo, one sister, Margaret, and a brother, Kenneth.

Interment will be in the Buffalo Prairie cemetery.
