Jean E. Harper, 89, of Daytona Beach, Florida; and formerly of Lisbon, died March 7, 2019 at Advent Hospital in Daytona Beach, Fl. Per her request there will be no public services. Her place of rest is at Foxwood Memorial Park.

Surviving is her sister- in-law, Betty Harper, Daytona Beach, Florida; two nieces, Mary Kay Barrett of Ormond Beach, Florida; and Diane Harper of Richardson, Texas. She was predeceased in 2005 by her husband, Donald Harper.

Jean was born on July 2, 1929 in Ogdensburg, New York; a daughter of the late Donald & Vaughn (McCready) Todd. She attended Lisbon & Morley rural schools and graduated from Canton High School. She later married Donald Harper on October 6, 1948 in West Virginia.

During her career she worked as a secretary for Ray Geary Chevrolet from 1952 until 1978 when she retired. She is a member of the Lisbon American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Lisbon Presbyterian Church.
