Born June 26, 1965 to Leroy and Mary Nell Alexander in Heidelberg, Germany and in 1980 blessed with Elroy Sr. and Alice Lister as parents. She graduated from M.B. Smiley High School in 1983 and received a B.S. from Lamar University in 1986. Yolanda was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc (1984). In 1987 she was married to the love of her life, Vincent Alan Roberts in Houston, Texas. They have two children: Amber Nicole and Vincent Alan II. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 7, 2007. Viewing is 9:00 11:00 a.m., with Omega Omega Service from 9:45-10:15 a.m.. Repass at St. John's following interment at Brookside Memorial Park.
