Albert Eugene Wilson, age 80, Woodbury Road, died January 29, at Dillon Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was the son of the late Jessie and Almeda His Wilson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 1, at Jennings & Ayers Chapel with George DeHoff Sr., officiating. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Ann Davis Wilson, Murfreesboro; six sons, Bill, Rufus and James Wilson, all of Murfreesboro, Andrew Wilson, Sparta, Tenn., Douglas Wilson, Louisville, Kentucky, Fred Wilson, Lakeland, Florida; three daughters, Mrs. Georgia Boggs and Mrs. Helen Barrett, both of Miami, Florida, Mrs. Dorothy Jenkins, Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee; thirty six grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.

He was a native of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, but had lived in Murfreesboro for the past forty four years. He was a retired farmer.

The body will be at Jennings & Ayers where services will be held.

One of his sons, Bill Wilson, is Sheriff of Rutherford County.
