He was married to Mable Martin.
Working at Auto Glass Shop installing glass in automobiles and living at 670 Reid Avenue in Nashville, Arthur was 23 years old and married when he burned to death in an automobile fire at South 10th & Sevier Street in Nashville on June 5, 1948: It was NOT a traffic accident. Burial was the next day in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.
