Born at Sand Rock, daughter of Mrs. Jennie L. Grandstaff and the late Carl A. Grandstaff, she was a graduate of Ames-Bern High School and a member of the Central Avenue United Methodist Church. She had been employed at the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors also include her husband, Nelson; a son, Eugene, of Athens, and a brother, Dale Grandstaff, Stewart Route 1.
Services will be conducted Thursday, 1 p.m. in the Hughes Funeral Home by the Rev. James McCormack. Burial will be in the Alexander Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
