Jason Richard Jones, 28, beloved son of Richard & Sherry Jones, went to be with his Lord & Savior on May 30, 2007. Jason blessed his family and friends with his intelligence, quick wit & determination. He loved his family and enjoyed music, politics, The Florida Gators and NASCAR. We will treasure his many accomplishments and his unique sense of humor and laughter. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Anderson University in Anderson, SC. He served as president of the Student Government and was a member of the Anderson college choir. Jason continued his education at the University of Delaware where he received his Masters Degree and was soon to receive his PhD in Organization and Industrial Psychology. His research in this field has been published in Psychology Journals. In addition to his research, he taught Psychology to undergraduates. Pastor Dave Annan from Community Bible Church in High Point will lead family and friends in celebrating Jason's life at a Memorial Service at Cumby Family Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 3:00 pm. Jason's memory will be cherished by his loving parents, his brother, Colby Jones, his niece, Kayla Jones that he adored. His grandparents, Otha Benton from Little Rock, AR, Wayne & Pat Heflin from Kokomo, IN. And many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the love of his life, Katie Smith from Milville, NJ. Jason's Granny, Wilma Benton, will greet him in Heaven with open arms.
