"In 1874 Nathan was on the Tax List of Carson's Dist. of Rowan Co. In 1784, also he was in failing health, and in June he wrote his will, saying he was 'sick and weak in body' - he was however, able to sign his name. His wife Mary and four children living at that time; his son Charles and Anna Todd were witnesses.
