Fern Pauline Yerks was born August 14, 1925 the daughter of Arthur and Bertha (Thiede) Yerks. She was married June 17, 1950 to John (Jack) Groskreutz at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kimball, Minnesota. She was survived by her son Gary Groskreutz of Litchfield, Minnesota. brother Leslie (Judi) Yerks of Brainerd, MN, sister-in-law Janet Yerks of Hutchinson, Mn, and Margaret Groskreutz of Buffalo, Minnesota. many nieces and nephews, including Kenneth Thiede (Donna) of Bismarck, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack), parents Arthur and Bertha, sister Helen, brothers, Marvin , Don and sister-in-law Mavis of Minneapolis. Internment will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery.
