From the Bates County Democrat Weekly, Thursday, January 17, 1907 - "Mollie E. Boyles, daughter of J.C. and Ada Wright, was born in DeWitt county, Ill., Dec. 27, 1881. Moved with her parents to Bates county, Mo., in 1884. She was married to Henry {Thomas Henry} Boyles March 19, 1899, and died at her home four miles southwest of Butler on January 12th, 1907. Three children were born to this union, two of whom are living, the third dying at the age of seven months. She leaves a husband and two children to mourn her death. Funeral services were conducted at the family home on Sunday afternoon by Rev. Joel A. Barker. Interment was in the Morris cemetery."
