NIAGARA FALLS, N. Y. - Carl (Pete) Bumbarger, 58, of New Liberty, Pa., died Thursday evening at Niagara Falls, N. Y.

Born at New Liberty November 1914, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bumbarger.

Mr. Bumbarger was of the Methodist faith and a veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theatre.

He was married to the former Monabell Hubler who survives along with the following children: Mrs. Thomas (Norma Jean) Poole, Madera; and Mrs. John (Patricia) Poole, Houtzdale.

Five grandchildren and one great grandchild and these brothers and sisters also survive: William, Philipsburg; George, Huntingdon; Ben, Youngsville, Pa.; and Marion La Rosa, Philadelphia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Raymond.

Friends will be received in the William W. Strange Home for Funerals until time of services which will be held in the chapel of he funeral home at 9 a.m. tomorrow with the Rev. Edward Dixon officiating.

Interment will be in the center Hill cemetery.

Military graveside rites will be conducted.
