Fannie was the sixth of eight children born to Ira J. Kent and Ailcy Ann Chitwood. She married Edwin Oxford on April 12, 1914, and they had seven children: Eugene, Lois, Bonnie, Iona, Fairy, Ray and David.
NOTE: Official documents reflected my Mother's name as Fannie. However, she would sign her name as Fanny. To her children, the spellings were interchangable.
