Funeral services for Lawrence Singleton were conducted by Rev. G. Winfield Blount at 2 p.m. today at the Irvin M. Smith chapel. Singleton died yesterday at a local hospital. A retired Gilroy farmer, he came here two years ago. His home was at 274 Water street.
Singleton is survived by his mother, Lucy Singleton of Baldwin Park; a son, Larry, of Areata; three sisters, Eugenia Samuels of Los Angeles. Lucille Stout of Baldwin Park, Mrs. Annabelle Clement of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a brother, Charles Singleton of Rome, Italy.
Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.
