Services for S. Ruth Rainey 86 will be at 3 p.m. today at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. Burial will be in the Gibson County Memorial Gardens. Ms. Rainey a retired seamstress died Tuesday at Humboldt General Hospital of heart failure. She is survived by two daughters and two sons Glenda Johnson and Billy H. Rainey both of Humboldt Retha J. Hildreth of Fall Brook Calif. and Jim T. Rainey of Water Valley MS.
She was preceded in death by a son Horace Earl Rainey.
