Virginia Atchison, formerly of Kennett, Missouri, passed away on October 9, 2018 in Dickson, Tennessee. Mrs. Atchison was a loving mom to her four children: Dan Atchison (Clara) of Malden, Missouri, Janet Hawkins (Billy ) of New Johnsonville, Tennessee, Phyllis West (Brian) of Blackshear, Georgia and Jim (Ginger) of Gobbler, Missouri. She was known as Mamaw to ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is survived by two brothers and two sisters and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Atchison was the wife of a farmer and spent her life working on the farm and raising and loving her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, brother Leroy Scott; grandchildren Jared Shaneyfelt, Michael Lynn Chism Jr.; great grandchildren Juliet Louise Weiss, Brandt Michael Weiss and Ava Jane Weiss.
She will be loved and missed forever.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri with Funeral Service following immediately at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at Memorial Garden Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri.
