Alice L. Peebles, 82, daughter of the late Charlotte and Oscar Jackson, worked at the Infirmary Nursing Home and the Howard Johnson in Kingston and also worked at the Cottage Nursing Home, Ann Lee Nursing Home and GE in Schenectady. She enjoyed garage sales, playing the lottery, and the Saratoga Racino and spending time with her family. Alice was also a foster care giver to many children throughout the years.

She was predeceased by her husband, Fenton Peebles; children, Charlotte Holmes, Raymond DeGroate, Clifford Jackson and Rachel Jackson; brothers, Albert, James and Andrew; and sisters, Ruth, Elizabeth, Menerva, Vertima and Pearl. She is survived by her three children; siblings, Clarence, Arthur and Amanda; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
