Randy was born August 1, 1956 in Taylor, Texas to Bobby Gene and Betty Evelyn ( Hobbs) Caffey. He lived in Thorndale over 20 years and had lived in Lubbock for a number of years. He worked as an electrician in Lubbock and was formerly employed by Industrial Generating Company in Rockdale that later became Luminant. He enjoyed motocross, Aggie football games and fishing.
Randy passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Waco.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Caffey on September 22, 2006; and his sister, Donna Schwarz on June 22, 2012.
Surviving are his son, Keith Dwayne Caffey and wife, Amanda of Thorndale; daughter, Kayla Darnel Longoria and husband, John of Austin; granddaughter, Eliana Longoria; his parents, Bobby and Betty Caffey of College Station; brother, Rex Lyn Caffey of College Station; and brother-in-law, Glenn Schwarz of Thorndale.
Pallbearers are Art Hughes, Brad Caffey, Mark Taylor, Craig Mulvaney, Chad Schwarz, Justin Schwarz, Kerry Caffey.
