Hubert Lee Johnson, 83, of Baileyton Road, Greeneville, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019, at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
He was a member of Hardin's Chapel United Methodist Church and the Ottway 6 Bluegrass Band.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law: Robert and Angie Johnson and William Johnson; grandchildren: Katelin Bledsoe and husband, Tyler, Tiffany Johnson, Haley Williams, and Bryson Johnson; great grandchildren: Callie Johnson and Haven Bledsoe; sisters: Mary Lemmings and Louise Brown and husband, Harold; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law: Mary Ann Johnson; and a special friend, Margaret Humbert.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Shelby Johnson; parents: Robert and Martha Johnson; sisters: Nell Smith, Katherine Ellenburg, Charlotte Doty; and a brother: Pal Johnson.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Hughes officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Hardin's Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
