Family of Origin Name Pojman. Both Parents Immigrated from Bohemia and
Married 1886 in St. Paul MN. Family name Pojman changed after Immigration
abt the time Both Parents were seriously ill and later passed away. Anna's Father
Vojtech Albert" Pojman was born in Polna Bohemia. Anna's Catholc Internment
records from 1888 site Poymann surname. Their Pojman Name was transcribed
differently in many spelling variations. Anna preceded her Parents in Death.
Baby Anna passed away from Cholera in 1888. Both Anna's Parents also passed away of a serious possible epidemic illness 1898/1899 in St. Paul Minnesota USA.
Very possible Parents are laid to rest at the Calvary Cemetery.
(Family has searched for years and called Calvary Cemetery. No records of her Parents
Burial info found at Calvary Cemetery.
Anna's surviving Siblings were all orphaned when their Parents Passed
away and placed in different non relative out of home placement settings. Two Siblings were Adopted to new Families. Their Family was a deeply religious
Roman Catholic Family. Other Pojman Relatives also Immigrated from Bohemia,
settled in St. Paul MN, some moved to Chicago Illinois area. Anna's Aunt Marie
Pojman Married August Frank Sobotka in 1884 and they were active Members
of the St. Stanislaus Church in St. Paul MN, near Anna's Parents home.
This Writer had the Honor of knowing Anna's Brother Albert (Pojman) Poyman
who was related to Our Family Members. . Their Family were happy, devout Christian Immigrants working hard to live the American Dream when serious illness affected their Family. More children were born after Anna passed away. Serious Illness tragedy struck their Family again. Anna's Surviving Siblings Reunited when they were Elderly by abt 1960.
Anna is survived by Family in Minnesota, Illinois, elsewhere in the U.S. and Europe.
