DeKalb County Cemetery Book page 81, states
DEDMAN CEMETERY (27) on Map
is located on Walkers Creek Road, directly across the creek from Malones Chapel Baptist Church; high on a HILL above the creek.
There are probaly 12 limestone markers and 12 or more unknown graves.
All stone remaining are broken and fallen down.Copied in April 1987 by Thomas G. & Aubrey Webb.
From Temperance Hall, DeKalb Co.Tn. go on HWY 264 towards Smith County, Cross Smith Fork Bride and Walkers Creek Bridge. Turn West at Walkers Creek/New Hope Road and continue on toward Alexandria. Church is on Left side of Road. Cemetery WAS on hill above creek. Unknown at present date if any visible evidence at present date is remaining.
