Bobbie Lou (Reynolds) Quinney was born on October 2, 1931 in Littlefield, Texas to Robert Ross and Grace (Mayfield) Reynolds. She went to school in Lexington, Texas and graduated in 1947. When she was in the third grade she got to skip fourth grade as the school year changed from 11 to 12 years. When Bobbie Lou was in the 6th grade she and Carl Petersen were able to skip 6th grade onto 7th grade. She graduated second in her graduating class of 1947.
After graduation she worked for the City of Lexington until she married and moved to California. Bobbie Lou returned years later to help take care of her father and mother. She and her mother enjoyed sewing and quilting together. She could never turn away a stray cat or dog. She loved pets. Her hobbies included quilting, knitting, sewing and taking care of her family.
Bobbie passed away the afternoon of Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Senior Care at Weston Inn in Temple.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace Reynolds.
Bobbie is survived by her cousins, Cherry Stover of Lexington, Chee Reynolds of Lexington, Mary Louise Young of Chappell Hill, Bill Young of Chappell Hill, Dempsey Stover of Lexington, Teri Munn of Montgomery, Stacey Stover of Lexington, Mary Sue Reynolds of Lexington and Joby Reynolds of Lexington.
