Lydia worked as the Secretary to the Chief of Police for the City of Sherman during the 60-70's, then went to Montgomery Wards for several years. She then retired from Austin College as the Secretary to the Chief of the Campus Police Department in the late 80s. Lydia had just celebrated her 94th birthday prior to passing at the home of her Granddaughter Kristi Cordell peacefully in her sleep.
Lydia was a resident of Sherman, Texas at the time of passing.
