Lydia is the daughter of Clarence and Alma Elizabeth (Clark) Evans of Bells. Texas. She was born in a small town called Delba, TX. Lydia is survived by her children Donnie Ray Cordell of Sherman, TX and Robin Lynn Campbell of Little Falls, NY; her granddaughters Robin Rene Cordell-Inge of Electra TX and Kristi DeAnn Cordell of Sherman TX and her Great-Grandchildren Michael Ryan Cordell of Sherman, Dustin Jacob Inge of Ft Gordon, GA, Andrew Ryan Cordell of Sherman and 2 Step-Great Grandchildren Jeffery Paul Inge of Wichita Falls, TX and Jami Theresa Nicole Inge of Burkburnett, TX.
Lydia worked as the Secretary to the Chief of Police for the City of Sherman during the 60-70's, then went to Montgomery Wards for several years. She then retired from Austin College as the Secretary to the Chief of the Campus Police Department in the late 80s. Lydia had just celebrated her 94th birthday prior to passing at the home of her Granddaughter Kristi Cordell peacefully in her sleep.
Lydia was a resident of Sherman, Texas at the time of passing.
