NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Debra Sue Rogers, 27, of 13 Middlesix Road, died Saturday, Jan 5, 1980 in Hampton General Hospital from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. She was born Dec. 30, 1952 in Port Huron and lived in Newport News 15 years.

Mrs. Rogers was manager of Rice-Nachman Beauty Salon, Hampton, Va. She was a member of Grafton Baptist Church, Grafton, Va.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon Ike; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman J. Reid, Newport News, formerly of Port Huron; a sister, Kristina D. Reid and a brother, Steven N. Reid, both of Newport News; and grandmothers, Mrs. Violet Gardner and Mrs. Gladys Reid, both of Port Huron.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Jennel Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald P. Stroud of Grafton Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park.
