Earl Sudweeks, our beloved father and grandfather, at the age of 93, returned back to his heavenly home on May 26, 2007 to be with his sweet wife, parents and family who has gone ahead, from his daughters home in Urie, Wyoming.

He was born on January 22, 1914 in Kingston on son of Preston and Emma Sudweeks. He married Chloe Nielsen on December 26, 1932 in Panguitch, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 21, 1937. They have spent over 73 years working together. She preceded him in death January 1, 2006.

They are parents of two daughters, Charlene (Hal) Morris and Shana (Ron) Ackerman. They have 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to his dear wife, he is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Burdell, a sister, Orene and half brother Reamo Bohne.
He loved farming and making the land beautiful. He spent time in his younger years as a sheepherder and enjoyed raising sheep later in his farming career. He also milked cows for many years. He always had a small flock of chickens to care for until he broke his leg in 2005. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in several callings, ward (home) teacher, president and counselor of the Sunday School and served a home mission in Boulder, Utah.

He served in the Army during 1945 - 1946. He served 2 terms as Kingston Town councilman. He spent a small time working in the coal mines in Dragerton, Utah.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and picnicking with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. in the Circleville 2nd LDS Ward Chapel Burial will be in the Kingston Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the V.F.W Piute Post #7561
