Died. : , Davis Dora Davis, wife of James Davis, died at their home in this city Tuesday morning, October 30, 1888. Deceased was born in Linn county, January 30, 1860. ; She was the daughter of Samuel Shoemaker. She was a consistent member of the M. E. church and had many" friends in this city . and vicinity.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church on Wednesday, conducted by Rev. T. Stephenson, after which the remains were interred in Pleasanton Cemetery.
She leaves a husband, three children and many relatives and friends to mourn her loss. The husband and little ones have the sympathy of everybody.
