Mrs. Luella Maude Atkin McAllister, 75, 128 Duplex Pl. (135 North), died Monday, 9:15 p.m., at her home of natural causes. Born Feb. 25, 1885, St. George, to Henry Thomas and Sarah Jane Ellicock Atkin. Married to Alma Leon McAllister Dec. 31, 1909, St. George Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died Oct. 28, 1955. Charter member, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Survivors: sons, daughters, Donald L., Luella, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert (Venetia) Pollard, Kearns; Bob E., Copperton; Norman Whitney, Richland, Wash.; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, H. R. Atkin, Salt Lake City; W. T. Atkin, Clovis, Calif.; Mrs. Jetta Hyatt, Mrs. Mae Pace, St. George. Funeral Thursday noon, Seventeenth LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., 4330 S. Redwood Rd. (1700 West), Thursday prior, chapel. Burial, West Jordan Cemetery.
