June Marie Atkinson, age 87, of Kingdom City, Missouri, was called to her Heavenly Home on Friday, February 15, 2019.
June was born June 27, 1931, in Callaway County, Missouri, daughter of the late Eagen Willing and the late Elsie (Beyersdorff) Willing.
June married Raymond Atkinson on August 24, 1963 and he preceded her in death .
June took pleasure in caring for her family and farming alongside her husband. She was a member of Richland Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery. June was also a member of the McCredie Community Club.
Those remaining to cherish her memory include her sons, Floyd L. Love (Robin Rees-Love) of Kingdom City, Missouri and Robert Mark Love (Cathy) of Kingdom City, Missouri; daughter, Debbie McDonald (Curt) of Williamsburg, Missouri; step-sons, Terry Atkinson of Kingdom City, Missouri, Fred Atkinson (Susan) of Kingdom City, Missouri and Sam Atkinson (Donna) of Columbia, Missouri; step-daughters, Judy Atkinson Borman (Harlan) of Kingdom City, Missouri and Cindy Atkinson Durst (Dr. David) of Alabama; sister, Patsie Pierceal; four grandchildren, Clint, Chris and Chuck McDonald and Bradley Love; step-grandchildren, Joe and Chris Wieschhaus and Melissa Appling; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kayla and Oliver McDonald; great-great-grandchild, Riley McDonald.
Along with her parents and husband, June was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Gibbs and Elvie Pierceall; great-grandson, Alexander S. McDonald.
Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Monday, February 18, 2019 at Richland Baptist Church in Kingdom City with Pastor Nick Drake officiating. Friends will be received from 1:00pm until the time of service at the church. Interment will follow in Richland Baptist Church.
Memorials are suggested to Richland Baptist Church.
