Fannie F. Jones Adkins, age 73, of 705 Clearview Drive, Vinton, died Tuesday in a Roanoke hospital. She is survived by one son, Gene Lee Jones, Roanoke; one daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Katherine) Sheppard, Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. Will (Florence) Francisco, Salem; Mrs. C. M. (Virginia ) Lawson, Roanoke; three brothers, John E. Furrow; Oscar E. Furrow, both of Salem; Wilson Ray Furrow, Roanoke;
two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18 at 11 a. m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. William Steele officiating. Interment will be in the Wolf Hill Cemetery, Thaxton, VA. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
