In 1929, he married the former Gertrude Longwill who survives. Mr. Abel was a member of the Marion Center Presbyterian Church and was a farmer during his lifetime. In addition to his wife, mentioned above, he is survived by the following sons, Harry H. of Hamburg, New York, Boyd E., Marion Center R.D., John C., Blasdell, New York, and Enos G. Abel of Indiana. Two sisters and one brother also survive, Ariel Abel, Indiana R.D. 2; Miss Idella Abel, Marion Center R.D.; Ory Mumau, Hillsdale, and six grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today and from 2-4 and 7-10 p.m. Saturday at the H. D. Rairigh Funeral Home in Hillsdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. A. R. Kaufman will officiate and interment will be made in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
