Paul Theodore Tisdale, 87, was born May 29, 1920 in Flora, Illinois and passed away on May 31, 2007 in New Waverly, Texas.

He served his country proudly in the U. S. Navy during WWII aboard the aircraft Carrier Intrepid. After the war, he attended the Utilities Engineering Institute. He and his family moved to Baytown, Texas in 1957 where they lived for over thirty years. He was a founder of Tisdale Co., Inc. during this time. He attended Lee College and later taught there for five years.

In 1987, after the death of his wife, Thelma Scheetz Tisdale, he and his family moved to Conroe, Texas, where they continued to operate Tisdale Co., Inc. After he retired in 1990, he met and married Marie Rushing, his devoted wife of 15 years. In his own words, he "lived the fullest life imaginable." He was a member of Mims Baptist Church. Paul was also involved in the Masonic Lodge of Flora, Illinois, Baytown Kiwanis Club, American Legion, and was past Commander of the V.F.W. of Flora, Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, Tempie Marie Tisdale; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul Tisdale, Jr. and wife Brenda, Lloyd Tisdale and wife Jana and John Tisdale and wife Suzanne, all of Conroe; daughter, Darlene Tisdale of Austin, Texas; seven grandchildren from his first marriage, Lisa Tisdale Fuller, Paul T. Tisdale III, Brooke Tisdale Verinder, Gerritt Tisdale, Lauren Tisdale, Brent Tisdale and Kimberly Tisdale; and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Raymond Rushing, Johnny Rushing, Louise Rushing, and Laura. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Scheetz Tisdale.

Services were entrusted to Cashner Colonial Chapel of Conroe, Texas.
