Jack D. Edgell, 69, Fairground Road, died Thursday at 11:20 p.m. at Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 31, 1904 in Madison County to William and Jessie Edgell. He was married Sept. 12, 1927 to Mabel Sattler who survives. He was a retired owner of the Edgell Sandwich Shop and was a member of the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving with the widow, is one sister, Miss Elizabeth Edgell of Elwood and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Copher and Fesler funeral home.
