Burkholder.-Sister Sarah (Grove) Burkholder, widow of the late Menno Burkholder, was born on March 15, 1842; died at the home of Bro. Henry Reesor, her son-in-law near Markham, Ont., on Oct. 31, 1928; aged 86 y. 7 m. 16 d. Her husband died 8 years ago. She is survived by two daughters. She was a faithful member of the Mennonite Church for about 60 years and was the last surviving member of the family of Bishop Jacob Grove who came from Lancaster Co., Pa., to Canada with his parents in 1808. The remains were laid to rest in the Wideman Cemetery, services being held at the home and the church adjoining the cemetery by Bros. Thos. Reesor in German and L. W. Hoover in English.
