Charlene Johnson, 77, went to be with our Lord on December 6, 2018 in Edinburg, Texas. She was born in Brownwood, Texas on April 29, 1941 to Lawrence and Chloe McClanahan.
Charlene is preceded in death by her husband, Larry L. Johnson; son, Lamar Starns II; sisters, Baunita Sprinkles, Raye Vinson; and her parents Lawrence and Chloe.
She is survived by her children, Edward (Susie) McClanahan, Allen (Susan) Neidhart, Kelly (Danny) Marr, James J. Johnson; sister, Joy (Rickey) Wilkerson; grandchildren, Emily, Albert, Angela, Daniel, Syible, Robert, Willie, Ashley; great grandchildren, Laci, Riley, Kirsten, Liam, Malik, Daniel, Jasiah, Zirkry, Zoey, Damian; great niece, Callie Strickland; nephew, Rickey Spurlock; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; and her special friend, Binky.
Visitation will take place Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 3pm - 9pm with at Prayer Service at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Remembrance.
Funeral Service will be Monday, December 10, 2018 at 12pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Remembrance. Burial to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens.
