Jewett Keith Franklin, age 62, of Dacula, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewett and Catherine Franklin and many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Dawn Franklin; niece, Allison Rainey (Clint); nephews, Brian Franklin (Stephanie) and Trapper Franklin (Lindsey); great niece, Kloey Franklin. As well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Keith was a lifelong resident of Drowning Creek Road in Gwinnett County and was one of the original students at the Hi-Hope School in Lawrenceville. He loved Cokes, hamburgers, and fellowshipping with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and eating. Keith had a smile that would brighten even your worst day and his happiness was contagious.
A funeral service honoring the life of Keith will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11AM at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Davis and Rastus Franklin officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 4pm-8pm at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
