Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend peacefully passed away Sunday evening, the 10th of February. Betty was surrounded by loving family who stood by her as she passed on to the other side to be reunited with her husband Glen. Betty had been in good health so her death was unexpected. At the age of 93 Betty was still going strong but when she returned home from church she fell ill. She was transported to the hospital where helpful and kind doctors let her family know there was nothing that could be done and her death would come soon. It was a beautiful blessing to have her passing so peaceful.

Betty was born in Salt Lake City Utah on Christmas day in 1925 to Ferrin J Bosh and Sylvia Blanche Clark. She had 2 brothers, Sheldon and Dale and 2 sisters, Shirley and Bonnie

She married Glendon Wallace Madsen on September 11, 1943. They were the proud parents of 5 children, Patricia, Brent (Margie), Janet, Brian (Cindy) and Diana (Doug). Betty raised a beautiful family and her posterity includes 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren

They lived happily for many years on the west side of Salt Lake and in 1966 moved to Bountiful.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and husband Glen.

Betty will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to all who knew her. Betty was an avid Jazz fan and never missed a game. She loved to travel and went on several cruises with her daughter, Janet, in her later years.

Betty loved to sew and create homemade gifts. All of her family members have lovely homemade quilts, pillows, table runners etc. that she has made. She was a caregiver to many, she lovingly cared for her mother before her death, and also her husband during his failing health.

Betty and Glen were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1970 and were involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints though many different callings.

A viewing and services will be held On Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Russon Mortuary at 295 North Main St. in Bountiful. The viewing starts at 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 with the funeral starting at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Lakeview Memorial Estates in Bountiful.
