Mary Elizabeth Clauser passed away February 18, 2016 at the age of 96, surrounded by family.
Mary was born April 23, 1919 in Leavenworth Kansas, the daughter of "Charles" [actual given & middle name of 'Tod Ross'] and Helen Bryant.
Mary met the love of her life and husband of 45 years, Bernard Clauser while working at "The Just Rite Sandwich Shop" in Leavenworth, Kansas. Mary and Bernard were married April 21, 1937. They moved to California in 1941, just in time for the birth of their third child. They moved to Ramona in 1958. They raised 7 children. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charles [Tod Ross] and Helen Bryant, husband, Bernard, son-in-law Mel Hill and granddaughter Theresa Thompson Lombardo. Mary is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Mary was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and in her younger years she served as a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
Mary felt her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her family. She will be forever In our hearts, not for just an hour, not for just a day, but always.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 24 at 11:00 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with her funeral Mass at 12:00. Burial will follow at Nuevo Memory Gardens in Ramona.
