Ella Louise Reed, 71, of Paris died March 21, 2004, at Hillview Nursing Home in Dresden. She was the mother of Rodney Reed of Obion.

Services were set for 1 p.m. today at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. James Bell officiating. Burial was to follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Pallbearers were to be Martin Harper, Isacc Williams, Jerry Dale Gilbert, Jeremy Smith, Teddy Willcutt and Josh Willcutt.

Mrs. Reed was born Sept. 21, 1932, in Tiptonville, daughter of the late Evert and Vella (Childress) Hutchcraft. She was a homemaker and a member of Samburg Pentecostal Church.

Survivors also include two daughters, Sherry Harper and Vicki Reed, both of Paris; her stepsister, Evonne Dexter of Samburg; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ollie B. Reed, who died in 1995; and her half brother, George Hutchcraft.
