Margaret Ann Bond Slaughter, age 66 of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on February 3, 2019. She was born on February 27, 1952 to the late Raleigh C. Bond and Naomi Hart Bond in Bell, FL.

Margaret was a graduate of Paxon High School in Jacksonville. FL. She was married to Merrill Slaughter on December 2, 1972. Margaret was a homemaker and stay at home mother until after Merrill’s passing in March 1997. Margaret then worked as a childcare provider at Highlands Baptist Church Day Care until it closed. She then worked as a School Bus Attendant for First Student. Margaret’s passion in life was loving and caring for children of all ages, especially any friends of Michelle and Judy.

Margaret was an amazing and extraordinary woman and friend to anyone she met. She loved all people and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family or friends. Her family and friends are going to miss her terribly, but are grateful for having had the opportunity to have been touched by such a sweet and precious soul. She was an angel on earth and has more than earned her wings in Heaven. Her halo shined through her warm and caring smile.
