Mrs. Mary Atteberry
FT. BRANCH, Dec. 22 – Mrs. Mary F. Atteberry, 56, died about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, December 22, 1948, at her home here following an illness of several months.
Survivors include the husband, Lawrence; a son, Charles of Ft. Branch; a brother, A.B. Hickrod of Ft. Branch, and two grandchildren
Mr. Atteberry was born near Ft. Branch, the daughter of William and Dora Hickrod and has lived in this community all her lifetime. She was a member of the General Baptist church, the Rebekah lodge and the Community club.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. At the General Baptist church with the Rev. Temas Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Atteberry will be taken from the Laib funeral home to the residence at 10 a.m. Thursday and friends may call.
