Mr Wm T Addison, who for a year or so was guard of the Lancaster Chain gang, died on Sullivan's Island on the 23rd instant of typhoid fever. He was a member of the Charleston heavy artillery company, having enlisted about two months ago. He was about 30 years of age and was a most worthy young man. He was well thought of by his fellow soldiers. His remains, escorted by two of his comrades, were brought back home for burial, the interment being made at Beaver creek church on the 25th.
