She was the daughter of Everett Bishop Sr. and Pearl Smoot Bishop and was raised in Monroe, Monroe County, Michigan. Rebecca was survived by two sisters, and a brother. Her husband preceded her in death about a year prior to her death. Private services were held at the cemetery.
