Vicky Monroe Schrimsher age 69, of Madisonville passed away peacefully at her home after a long battle with cancer with her family by her side. Vicky’s greatest accomplishment was her devotion and care to her family, especially helping raise her grandsons, Colby and Chase. Vicky worked at Sweetwater Hospital as a CNA before leaving to have more time with her loved ones.
Vicky is preceded in death by her mother, Alice Monroe Lynn; grandparents, Wade and Daisy Monroe and brother, Ricky Lynn. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Dannie Schrimsher; daughter Kimberly Kizer; grandsons, Colby Kizer and wife, Amy and Chase Kizer; sister, Janice Parks; brother James Lynn; aunt and uncle, Margaret and Bill Booher; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service 11 AM Saturday, February 8th, in the Reed Springs Cemetery.
