Cleo (Morelock) Allgood, 89, of Lohman, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018. She was born at home on Nov. 20, 1928, in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee, a daughter of the late Clifford and Sylvia Morelock. On Jan. 31, 1955, Cleo was united in marriage in Arlington, Virginia, to Cecil Allgood who passed on Oct. 16, 2014.
Cleo was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and walking but by far her greatest joy was raising her children and later, spending time with her grandchildren.
Cleo is survived by her two sons: Mark Allgood (wife Penny) of Centerville, Iowa; Matt Allgood (wife Cindy) of Rogers, Arkansas; one daughter: Michele Allgood of Jefferson City, Missouri; 12 grandchildren: Nicki Allgood Salisbury, Rian Campbell, Brooke Allgood Gaffigan, Zach Campbell, BJ Kauzlarich, Blaine Allgood, Randi Campbell Owens, Markie Allgood McElvain, Zoe Allgood McGee, John Allgood, Breanna Vandemark, Jenna Sivetts; nine great-grandchildren: Leea Allgood, Jonah Allgood, Isaac Gaffigan, Ava Salisbury, Lucas Gaffigan, Cora Allgood, Kippling Kauzlarich, Henry Gaffigan and George Owens; and one brother: Lloyd Morelock.
Cleo was preceded in death by six siblings.
Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 4930 Old Lohman Road in Jefferson City, Missouri where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brian K. Credille officiating. Interment will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Oakland Cemetery in Centerville, Iowa. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave, Stanton Island, New York 10305.
