11/18/1981 - Kenneth E. PLETCHER, 64, of Bellefonte, formerly of Howard, died at Centre Community Hospital Tuesday. He was born Dec 10, 1916 in Howard Tp., s/o Milford and Sylvia SCHENCK PLETCHER. He was married to the former Sara E. KRAPE who died Sep 19, 1978. He is survived by two sons: Milford W. of Bellefonte, and Paul K of Bellefonte, three daughters: Joan Williamson of Johnstown, Anna Mae Long of Mount Joy and Donna PLETCHER of Bellefonte, seven grandchildren and four brothers: Raymond of Madison, OH, Russell of Perry, OH, Paul of Howard, and Willard of Howard. Mr. PLETCHER was owner of K. E. PLETCHER, Inc. of Bellefonte. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant in the European Theater. He was a member of the Howard United Methodist Church, Bloss Blue Lodge Masons 350 of Blossburg, the Stagger Inn Hunting Club, and numerous Centre County fraternal and veterans organizations. Burial Schenck's Cemetery.
