Leota and Ralph were married for 22 years and raised two sons while she worked at Safeway and was remembered for her friendly face, easy smile and hardworking spirit. Leota and Richard Rhodes were married in 2005 and settled in New Market, VA where she enjoyed visiting with friends, crocheting and scrapbooking. Leota was devoted to her family and made visiting and checking on family and friends a priority. She researched and studied the history of her family combing through databases and books and found a lot of joy in learning about their lives and her connection to them.
Leota will be greatly missed by her husband Richard Rhodes of 13 years, two sons, Donald Wayne Link of Baker, WV and Michael Gene Link of Aldie, VA. A daughter-in-law, Jennifer Link, and two beautiful granddaughters Kathryn and Avery who were a constant source of joy and inspiration to her.
